About the speakers:
Jonathan Balkin is an Executive Director and Co-founder at U.S.-based Lionpoint Group, responsible for global client service and delivery. Jonathan oversees the firm’s consulting team, methodologies, and overall quality assurance. Jonathan and his team partner with clients to design target state operating models, lead system selection and implementation projects, and deliver operational improvement initiatives across the front, middle, and back office. Lionpoint Group has in-depth experience with the leading software applications serving the financial services industry. Prior to starting at Lionpoint, Jonathan was a consultant with Accenture delivering solutions to clients in the capital markets and financial services industries. He received an M.B.A. in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a B.B.A. in Information Systems and Technology from George Washington University.
John Fitzpatrick is a Managing Director in the Blackstone Innovations and Infrastructure group. John oversees various projects and initiatives across the entire group. Prior to joining Blackstone in 2011, he worked at Capital IQ, a division of Standard & Poor’s, for seven years, where he was most recently the Head of Product Design. Before Capital IQ, John worked in the Global Wealth Management division of Merrill Lynch (The Sullivan Group). He received a B.S. in finance from St. John’s University.
